Major structural defects found through a Pre-Purchase building inspection.
Work completed included Collar ties, Rolling underpurlins. Underpurlin to rafter connections, Struts to be chocked, Struts to be strapped, Tie down down straps to be installed
Woodbridge - November '24
A Pre-purchase building inspection for a Harcourts property, had indicated major structural defects in the property. These consisted of horizontal and vertical cracks throughout the house. The suspected cause was vibration through heavy compaction at a site next door.
We attended on short notice due to a property settlement deadline.
All cracks were cut and filled, front and back of the internal walls with galvanized rods and two-part epoxy glue. All cuts and cracks were then filled, flushed and sanded ready for paint.
Leeming - December '24
A sagging underpurlin was jacked up into position on this 2-storey property in Leeming. A structural strutting beam was installed with lateral restraints, before over strutting the underpurlin to support the load of the rafters. Our professional team, also noticed some pulling rafters due to the sag in the underpurlin. These rafter to ridge and hip connections were rectified, to make this roof safe and compliant for the new owners.
